In my last post(s) I was working away on repairing the ‘sub-panel’ which turned out to be a standard Imp van load area front floor. The intention was to post ‘warts n all’ once the job was finished as I ended up with terrible (well maybe that’s too strong a word) distortion using the ‘no gas’ mig welder I was practising with.
Anyway I have been too annoyed with it to finish it after all the work I put in being ruined at the final stages but I will be buying a new welder soon and hopefully get back on track.
Last weekend my friend John was home from the army for 1st time in about 9 years and I dug out these old pictures of him & me around 1990 messing around with the Imp not knowing what the future would hold for it or ourselves and certainly, perhaps thankfully, not knowing that 20 years later it would not be anywhere near finished.

Nice one John. I’ve not been in here for a while but was surprised to see a comment from someone I know lol. Its usually car geeks that view these things
