I have a feeling that, to anyone who is interested in the Imp Pick-Up (pick-up, Pick-up, pick up, pickup – what is the right spelling?), the bit they want to see is the pick up bit naturally. Over the years I have taken quite a few shots of the car but only one of the inside of the load area and it didn’t turn out very well (when I was 18 the cost of buying and developing a spool of film was quite an outlay. I now have a ditigal camera so money is not an issue) so up to now the only ones published have been of the profile of the car. These shots don’t give any clue to what’s going on inside the load area or how it was constructed so tonight for the first time ever I will show this.
